It's not real new but I really enjoy Misty Edwards. More depth in her voice than most of the new "little voiced" girls....breathy is good, but all the ccm females sound the same. They're trying to sound like Leigh Nash (SNTR) and just aren't getting there.

Tina Dico (northern europe) has a nice vib, but the lyrics are well...northern euro-esque. Not real edifying IMO - not ccm

Not quite sure why ccm is embracing the gravel guys but not ladies...sometimes it sounds like the gals are afraid to sing.

Most ccm female vocals don't do much for me...if I'm going to listen to pretty voices, I'll take Hillsong's Miriam Webster anyday.

As for the ladies....i love Alicia Keys and am hooked on her right now....love the passion & rawness of her voice.....and Colbie Caillat and Sara Bareilles are the most recent on my download list too!!! But as far as Christian ladies.....yeah....the good ones don't have anything new or groundbreaking right now. I'll let you know when I find something new!

Not many thoughts, but I caught the Lifehouse performance on New Years and I love those guys. Said a little prayer for them for God's favor as they influence go where some others don't.
Saw Plumb (10) years ago open for Jars of Clay and have followed ever since. Haven't heard the lullaby thing yet.
Liking Leeland right now. Saw him open for Casting Crowns recently. Interesting sound.
My thoughts for what they are worth
