American Idol Update: What's Up With America????

I totally DON'T GET IT!

BAD CALL!

Kristy Lee, Syesha, Jason... or even Brooke...

but MICHAEL JOHNS???? No stinkin' way!

The last time that I felt like this was when Chris Daughtry got voted off. Well... the rest was history there... huh? Unbelievable! That was a HUGE mistake, America!

At this point who cares who has been voted off....how amzaing and huge have the last two nights been........The closing song is SHOUT TO THE LORD and the opening song is SHOUT TO THE LORD....come on man....not even a mention of this in your blog.......dont you think this is blog worthy. Plus it is the 2nd most popular song in the idol gives back!

I do have to agree with you Michael should have made it further in the process...not sure that he would have won idol!

The others your mentioned just bought another week or so....they are not going to last.

I was surprised by the decision too!, but I was thinking of Chris Daughtry and he made it bigger than anyone that year and has longevity. I think the same thing of Michael.

Shout to the Lord was really good!
I liked it alot.
blessings Danny and have a great weekend. We'll be worshiping on line Sunday.

I think he got nailed by having to go first. Two things, 1. a lot of people miss your performance when you go first (you missed it, didn't you?). And 2. by the time the show is over, a lot of people have forgotten about your performance. If MJ doesn't go first this week, I don't think he gets voted off.

Also, it looked like Ryan was going to allow him to stay (like last year when no one left one "Gives Back" week. And then the sent him home...if they'd allowed him to stay and given a second chance, I think it would have been a wakeup call for America and they would have started throwing their support behind MJ. In other words, had they let him stay last night, even though he had the least amount of votes, I bet he would have finished at least in the top 3.

Kaiser: Yeah... hearing "Shout The Lord" was pretty cool. I would love to know how that all went down. I do know that several of the contestants profess to be Christians. I just wonder if there was some sort of song nomination and vote that took place. However it happened... it was awesome to hear the stars of the biggest show on national television singing about our God... even if they changed the words. I think God definitely used the song in spite of whoever made that call.

Tina: Yeah... Michael will have his day. He probably had a huge record contract waiting for him as soon as he stepped off of that stage.

See you on-line Sunday! We love it when your there in person though! Miss you guys!

John: Great observations. You are probably right on. Who knows "how it might have been". I'd like to think that he would still be in the mix though. I also thought that the way Ryan handled the "no one leaves on Idol Gives Back week - see ya!" thing was pretty cold. He deserved better than that. Again... Michael will have his day.

Hey, just wanted to say the worship yesterday was SWEET!
Thanks for serving.
Nice job by Mary Sue. She communicated that closing song so well.
