We spent the whole day at the beach yesterday. It was probably about 95 degrees and sunny with a few puffy clouds. The water was 85 degrees. It was a beautiful day... so beautiful that I was "lulled" into a false sense of "I guess I'm not going to get any sun today." Well.... sometime around 3:00 in the afternoon I started resembling a LOBSTER! I mean I was turning bright red! Then... last night... I really paid for it. I got sick! I was chilled and felt achy all over (plus the pain of the sunburn). I could not get warm enough. I slept under about 4 blankets. It wasn't until about 4:00 this morning that I started feeling normal.
So needless to say... we didn't go crab watching last night.
Well... April and I are off to the beach for a bike ride this morning. So... I had better get.
